Thanks for the prayers and comments.
He took a 9mm to the lower jaw . Close enough he has powder burns on his face.
Don't know how but the slug actually bounced of his jaw bone. Cracked the jaw but not a complete fracture.
A second round was stopped by his vest.
I'll add the vest pic to the first post (top).

Glad your Son is okay. Good shoot on your Son's part. My nieces husband got into a shootout on new years eve a few years ago. He won.

I'm so not happy with the way people think they don't have to respect anyone any more .I'm super glad your son will be OK !There's no common sense any more .Don't follow requests from an officer , resist arrest , and shoot at an officer .Got just what he asked for !
