I became aware of this bill on Wednesday a few hours after it was introduced.

Basically the representatives that are co-sponsoring it are trying to say that Pittman-Robertson excise taxes on firearms, ammo, archery equipment, and arrows is infringing upon the 2nd amendment. The intent is to repeal the Pittman-Robertson act which would gut the primary funding mechanism for wildlife agencies nationwide.

There is no mention of how these funds would be replaced but I suspect that the antis are drooling over this because this would be a great opportunity for them to come up with an idea that they can control and end our ways of life.

The bill is a great example of the heart being in the right place but the brain being absent or at least up their backside.

So following this same logic are they going to do away with sales tax, income tax, state excise tax etc. I don't think they thought that one through but that seems to be happening a lot lately.

So they're admitting that the 2nd A is real and the law of the land?
