I, currently, carry a S & W Shield 9mm. I am looking to add a higher capacity, "full-size" 9mm to my collection. I don't want to spend a ton, but looking for dependable/comfortable. Glock, Springfield, Colt or others???

For full frame 9 this would be one of my choices.

You need to go to a shop and hold a bunch in your hand and rent some for range time. Best advice ever!

shoot any decent pistol enough it will become your favorite
so decide what features you want. buy a gun that has them. then shoot it a few thousand times.

You need to go to a shop and hold a bunch in your hand and rent some for range time. Absolutely! I am a fan of Ruger for many reasons. Quality, engineering, design, reliability, durability, fit, and they make sense to me. Wifey is always happy with a Ruger too. If I was in the market for a new gun, I would definitely look at the Sig Legion series.

Glock, Springfield, Colt or others??? if your comfortable with smith the M&P 2.0 is a good place to start glock 17 or glock 45mos go to a place that rents and buy several boxes of ammo most places it is one fee to rent all you want in one caliber for the hour start by finding the ones that feel good in the hand you can do that at a well stocked store , start a list keep the Glock 17 in the mix just for a solid comparison until you have shot it compare magazine prices , holsters , ask your self besides full size what am I looking to use it for
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I'll say it.....CANIK TP9SFX I have been very impressed with Caniks. With their trigger, reliability, and price point they are pretty high up there in the ranks of what is on the market.
