I want to see if there is enough interest in having a tomato contest.

I may, let me repeat, I may fund small prizes for the top 3 largest single tomatoes grown in 2023.

Criteria for me to support it:

1. 25 or more people to post they would participate
2. Paul to say it is okay and accept my money ($50) and he will send 1st place $25, 2nd place $15 and 3rd place $10 gift certificates for Dobbins’ Products
3. Someone to determine the winners other than me - A person can only win one place
4. Next March everything is okay in my life so I can participate too

Not a criteria but nice to have someone else add to the prize money.

Not a big deal to me one way or the other but I will most likely plant a couple of varieties to try to grow a giant tomato. Charles made me think of this when he talked about a contest that they had for employees in my large tomato post.

Thank goodness it's for next year. I'm having a terrible time growing tomatoes this year. Here is one from last year.
