Yesterday my little sister and i went magnet fishing down by the ditch near some land we own. We resorted to using the treble hook for fun because I felt like I was grabbing but falling off a metal fence post. This was our second time and we do it too get a laugh. The guy that cleared the marsh from trees across the road had a lot float over we pulled up some decent sized logs.... Out only wish was if we had a sawmill we could sell the wood.

You guys ever find anything interesting?

Best thing we ever caught was a kid's scooter. Took it home, washed it up, sprayed some WD-40 on the wheels and it was just fine. Ended up giving it to a family with a little girl.

We caught a kid's fishing pole one time. Also a steak knife (obviously a discarded murder weapon grin).

Mostly a lot of junk and trash. But you never know. A safe full of gold bullion could be the next catch!

Bound by everlasting bands?
None shall take thee
From the Strength of Israel's hands.

I bought one used it once to recover a rifle I lost when I flipped my kayak checking beaver and coon sets.

My cousin has a friend that tossed his in a creak near a rual town. He cut his rope and let the magnet go when he pulled it up and it was covered with hypodermic needles . He was not going to chance trying to get them off his magnet. So be careful when you go to remove the crud on the magnet you never know what may be just underneath it.

All I've found is a bunch of nails and some snowmobile trail markers
