Canvasback2 OP trapper Joined: Jul 2016 Posts: 3,928 NY	Anyone know if there is a standard inside diameter for a Beer Mug or Beer Stein.? Got some I need to make , and going to put Stainless Steel liners inside the Wood Mug. The problem is, there are all different sizes for the stainless steel liner inserts. Is there a standard size to go by for comparison ?

I would think as long as the volume is correct, it shouldn't make a difference on the size. Hopefully someone with real knowledge will chime in. Act like a blank, get treated like a blank. GREENCOUNTYPETE trapper G Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 18,615 Green County Wisconsin	perhaps the best advice on this comes from a potter I took a wheel thrown potter class with the wife a few years ago open your mouth place thumb on top teeth place index finger on the bridge of your nose transfer that to your clay that is the gauge for any drinking vessel you intend to tip up and drink from. nothing to remember , nothing to measure with , your at the wheel you have the gauge with you right on your face.
