I have all I should need have always been hoarder of them buy ahead. I haven't been watching really close. Does seem most places here have lids. It is though the time everyone starts grabbing. Last year's shortage had me buying a sleeve of 100 or 250.............a brown paper tube the size of a roll of 10 can roll of snuff..........off brand or no brand lids. Did my canned venison and had two not seal. Never, EVER have I had a failure to seal with Ball. Lesson learned. Wollen nicht krank dein feind. Planen es.

curtisd trapper C Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 592 kentucky	last year all i could find when i needed them was some that was not any brand name. i canned 20 quarts of tomato juice. had 12 that didnt seal. have never had a ball lid fail.

They bent like a jiffy pop popcorn foil at first. They sealed but the lids have small creases in them...... buy American. Just passin through

I had maybe 5-6 unseal or fail after checking and storing out of a couple hundred, but still an issue. I also had a dozen or so that kinked but sealed. I am using those i have left for frig dills and other frig items. Got a couple hundred ball lids sent a couple months a go. Should be good to go for this year. Bryce
