Never tried them but I got some squid in the ink from Walmart,

NEVER AGAIN!! Nasty stuff. Ate 2 bites and tossed the rest. If it wasn't in ink it might of been ok.

WISH I HAD MORE TIME TO TRAP!

LOL I ate them once, didn’t know what they were at the time and they were actually just a part of the dish but they weren’t bad tasted kind of like chewy cashews, it’s getting past the thought of what your chowing down on

Had Escargots Friday night.LOVE em cooked in butter and garlic sauce.For years I couldn't get my wife to try them,,and that's not like her .She has tried pretty much everything I have cooked,,,beavers,,,muskrats and such.Well,,she finaly tried them a few months ago.She said I cant believe how GOOD these things are!! smile

Canned salmon for salmon patties Pink or Red whatever was on sale was a staple for salmon patties growing up. Mom would keep it in stock to make a cheap meal that would feed a lot of mouths. She was a great cook and I loved her salmon Patties. Wife cooks them occasionally also. Prefer fresh but no problem with it canned, Now the Escargots I could live without.

I first had escargot when I was 5. They were cooked by the son of a French chef, I didn't like them. I last had escargot a few years ago, it was okay. I would eat escargot again, but would not go out of my way to do so or order them from a menu, that had better tasting options.

Too bad! The can I had made good Catfish bait, and I'll bet it would have been great in DP's for Coon.
