They seem ~everywhere this year. I feel like I have to use one eye to focus on watching for bees. I could be wrong but I don't think those ground bees are good pollinators. I stepped on or around a mess of them today once while chainsawing but somehow I lucked out and didn't get stung but when I stepped back and looked at it they sure were angry.
I got stung on the eyelid by one this year tree planting; that was interesting. I always keep a couple of those pink pills in my truck in case I get stung.

10 Oz of caned chicken and 1/4 tsp of tarus sc mixed in will solve that problem. I put the chicken inside a wire cage to keep other animals from getting into it.

It's not natural it's a termite insecticide. Don't mix it any higher you want them to live long enough to carry the poison back to the hive. Fron what's been posted here it should kill every hive within 1/4 mile.

My bait stations will be going out next week when I get home. I forgot to do it before I left for work this weekend.

Only if they eat it. Since they should not be attracted to chicken it should not be a problem. I put a doctored can of chicken in a wire cage on top of one of my hives in my bee yard last year and another up by the house. It's just a little under t 1/2 mile distance.. I waited to to late in the year when the yellow jackets were more interested in sugar than meat but I saw a drop in the # that were always all over my gator going after all the spilled sugar water I was feeding the bees.

I saw the yellow jackets hitting the blood from the chickens I butchered last week so I'm hoping I'm early enough this year.

I can't see honey bees going after chicken unless it was very dry and they were going for the moisture in the chicken juice.

All my and my hives were just fine last year

I just dump a little Sevin dust down the hole and it kills them all.

They are indeed pollinators but that does not mean one needs to put up with them if they are where they can injury you or pets etc. I used to have more bumble ground nestors years ago. Not so much anymore but this is the 3rd or 4th year where the wasp numbers for me are high. I am finding nests in several nooks and crannies.

What are “ground bees”?
Are you referring to Yellow Jackets?

Ground bees equals yellow jackets in my area.I have almost stepped on the hole in the ground that they were coming in and out of one day in September. There was not a whole bunch of them coming in and out right then. But when I stepped right next to that spot it got them stirred up.I have also have seen certain wasps come out of the ground as well as rocks piled along a drive that went to a garage under a house.
