I don’t think it would work if you were on the ground still hunting, I think you sweat too much and moving around dissipates the ozone. However, I have seen it work from a tree stand with swirling wind, several times.

I just bought the cheep ozone one off Amazon. Fry my hunting coveralls in a tote for about 15 min with the ozone machine b4 I go out. I’m not a “big buck” hunter, more meat. I hunt the same stands on the river I live on and have hunted them for years. I’m in the stand 10 min from my front door. Wind swirls bad here on the river and I know what wind usually spooks deer. Ozone machine 100% no question make a big difference in my situation.

They definitely kill certain odors. I have a small portable unit that I'll put in a tote with my hunting clothes between washes, and it works great to knock down the funk in the cab of my truck.
