do you use traps?
I see people using minnow traps to catch snakes , obviously not massive 12 footers but same concept up scalled maybe

Growing up in the glades , in FLA, I well know that the hotter the weather, the more active the reptile.
That's why folks would wait to handle gators , and poisonous snakes in winter. They were slower in cooler temps and more easily handled.
Those invasive snakes were introduced after I left , so I never dealt with those. Just the indigenous ones.
When is this roundup ?
over tomorrow Sharon.

I saw a piece on the news about this. If memory serves, there were some pretty strict limitations on collection methods. For instance, not allowed to shoot em. If so, that suggest to me this is not about elimination of this invasive species. That sounds like they are managing a resource. They're extremely difficult to find, they don't want people blasting native snakes etc I'm sure. This may also be happening in the park which would explain the stricter rules.

Should be "Take anytime; shoot, catch, remove etc. X2 I've said the same for a while. No bag limits , no rules , hunt 24/7/365 , no fees , no licences. Remove by any means necessary until the snakes are extinct. Better yet , put a hefty bounty on them.
