Got to rock and roll with the peaches today. A near all day affair including clean up of the sticky mess I made. I dread doing dishes, pots and pans. Not to mention all the utensils.

Here is my 1/2 bushel of prime peaches and the gold at the end of the rainbow....

Can you smell what the Rocks got cookin """"""""""" smile Yes that is the real deal steam and all. What an aroma in my house.

Blanched peaches peeled and ready for slicing and dicing.

Some mighty fine jam right there. I really tried to spike the pooch today. I added some home made tinctured vanilla I was saving for a long time. Love this flavor and taste.

While working in the kitchen most of the day I saw several Gold Finches out of the window working over my sunflowers pretty hard. They just have started to mature and the birds are nailing them pretty hard already. At this rate there won't be much left come fall. They sure like to stand on their heads to peck for seeds.

Looks good Bob. I made a batch the other day. Had left over peaches and we are finishing the cobbler tonight.

Having some Italian toasted bread with breakfast this morning with a big smear of fresh jam. A nice big egg, onion and mushroom omlette. Yes the jam will be enjoyed over the next year or so.

Bob Jamesom rocks. I've had some of his jams, they are the best.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.
