I'm usually on the police's side in these things, but not this one.

I'm not going to judge them cops based on just that video. Too much I don't know about what happened to get to this point.

Maybe he raped a little kid, in that case the cops need awarded, not punished... for example.

Good, you apparently know the whole story. Why don't you tell the rest of us? What got him in this situation? Why was he resisting the cops? Did he have a gun or knife? Tell us what you know.

What does it matter what the cops thought the guy did just prior, they are not judge and jury. If he is subdued then cuff him and load him in the vehicle. Cops today suck and so does the attitude that they should be able to beat people who 'they' think deserve it. If I can prove a cop deserves a beating can I beat him and get away with it?

Good Lord Jayme, that's a twisted view. Cops have a job to do. They cannot and should not allow personal feelings enter into the equation. That's not there job to beat the heck out of someone, just arrest them and let the legal system go to work.

There are three cops there. If they can't arrest a fella without beating the tar out of him then they need to find another line of work. They should be arrested themselves.

No, that's not how our system was set up to be. Cops have one job, to arrest ones who break the law, no matter the offense. They are not a Judge, a Jury, Military, they simply do their job and let the courts decide.
