LOL that's ok, BB, This stuff isn't for everyone, and I have liked a variety of music. I don't like everything of Motown, either, but some things I do . grin

He was happy as a clam at high tide with that van , and this song was his theme as he traveled down the road almost across country to car shows.

This tune is a long one, so you can either pull the feed dial or not . I like the instrumentals improvising in their turns .

I still hear this one in my head , from doing that fantastic van , to this day, especially on long drives

cool

Great driving tune ! I heard that in my shop last month, and stopped hammering and sanding, and just walked ovah to the radio and turned it up…and started to move my feet….lmao ! Put a big grin on my face too….

Sharon…you got any pics of those Murals on the vans you did back in the 70’s. That was a big thing back then. When I worked at a Corvette shop for 10 years, there was a guy that worked there that did some van murals….way out of my league !

Nessy, I kick myself to this day that I didn't take any photos of them. Other folks did of their rigs after I did them, but back then, there was no convenience of digital cameras , needless to say phone cams.

Even the other art I did , and portraits, I took very few. Of those, I think I have the old paper photos stashed away.

If only the phones that are so easy now , had existed back then. I would have been a cam bug !

I had the mindset, that I'd always do those style murals and could catch up to the owners if I wanted to.

They were the classic murals you remember, with powerful masculine warriors , on big draft horses , strong, yet sensual women, all telling the theme story of the Celts.

I did Greek themes too, Pegasus , old skool flames , eagles with the flag, crossed swords of honor, whatever the clients wanted.

Yup…it was different times back then…. Running to Photo Mat with a roll,of film…hoping they came out…lol. All of us from back then don’t have pictures of everything we did ,like they do now. But pictures still rock ! Iam sure those vans were things of beauty !

I was never much of dancer didn't ever work at no car wash LOL!
I was how ever a fairly good roller skater. Didn't have all the corny moves in the video. I could get around the rink pretty well and had few moves. skated regular right up to a couple years ago. Also thought Olivia was very easy on the eyes r.ight to the end

Yep, remember that tune too.

That is one cool art job on that album. The Eagles. I’d pahk the cah and admire that for minutes !

I rode the wave in mural art in the 70’s and 80’s, have always wondered if the wave would return someday. It hasn’t entirely, though very astounding murals are still to be seen on semi trucks . If it does, I am ready !

Disco sucks!
I feel sorry for you guys that spent your high school years during the disco era; A little embarrassing I'm guessing.
