I need a little advice, my neighbor has one for sale that is in excellent shape for 1200. Is this a decent deal? It has been stored inside since new. I want something I can use on the trapline and give the kids rides. Thanks

I have 1999 bayou it is still going strong and I have rode the heck out of it.

I'm lucky that I have the old fourwheeler for parts and I happen to have a new set off tires for it as well. I don't buy much of anything new because of the cost. I was just looking for a little assurance that I was making the right decision. Thanks

I enjoyed one for several years. The only issue I can remember was it had trouble if I was in wet brush or wet grass. Seems like I was always draining water from the carburetor bowl. Like it almost needed a water separator in the fuel system.

It's identical to yours, I had one that was green and black. Kids are getting excited to get home and pick it up. Had to make a pit stop in Medora for fudge and ice cream.

If your not used to those suckers, be careful! I had one for many years, and those things will climb up a phone pole! lol. Could have killed me a few times, but must not have been my time!

Sal and I took the ole phone pole climber out checking coyote sign.........we are enjoying and he is learning all the time. Found a nice big kneeling foam along the highway that must have blown off a truck. An added bonus!

I have 1987 Kawasaki Bayou (2x4). Bought it brand new in 1986...I am still using it for trapping and hunting...if you keep up with the maintenance and you won`t kill it.
