Funny you haven't heard this good news on the news. I Wonder why? Because they've been telling us for YEARS that "global climate change" was gonna make hurricanes more numerous and more severe. When it doesn't happen..........it doesn't fit the narrative of their big lie. So the media (150% complicit in the socialist take-over agenda) brushes over it.

Most of the big ones are last week of August and first 2 weeks of September. That being said I have worked a couple late ones that were impressive.

The last one we had through my part of Ga came in October of ‘18. Don’t care if I ever experience one again in my lifetime or my children's lifetime. It wasn’t but a Cat 1 when it came over, but IF one ever comes again I’m packing up and heading either North or South to avoid it! Georgia is in kind of a sweet spot to avoid the worst of it with the Atlantic ones turning north as they approach or the Gulf ones hitting further west and blowing themselves out as they pass to the north. But we do get the occasional freak like the one in 18 that comes in from due south.

Seriously though I wouldn't want to be anywhere near the coastal boat business during hurricane season. You are right Warrior. I got fed up with the darn things. i had to take waterwcrld apart a number of times in preparation for those storms and it gets old after a while. Riding one out off shore is fine. But being stuck in or near marians is a whole different ball of wax. All of a sudden you got broken up concrete dock chunks heading your way and those things a bugger to have to push off in that kind of weather when everything is bouncing around and all ya got it a boat hook. Boats that have ripped off their dock lines and cleats are another. My anchor setup was dragging a little during one and once there is a bit of loose in the system ya got yer hands full holding it all together so the 3 boats and 3 docks don't beat the crap out of each other. I much prefer to be off shore with just one boat to look after than our tied together island a mile from the marina upwind from us. Then there is the clean up of the marina after a hurricane as we are inevitable the first ones on scene before anyone else can come back with evacuations and all that going on. ....... Nope I like it here in the hills. But I said that I would go down there to prep before the next major one hits. And then again to clear the mess up afterwards.

I'm sure that the "made caused climate change" proponents are getting worried and disappointed that there have been no hurricanes recently. They are sick folks.
