It only takes one bad experience to sour you on a manufacturer and that's what I had with Milwaukee. Cooked the motor on a corded grinder in the first fifteen minutes I owned it. Never experienced anything like that with Makita. I used Bosch and Makita in the masonry trade to cut brick and store. There's nothing harder on a saw than that. Blue holds up.

I've never been a big fan of battery powered tools on a jobsite but I found a use for a cordless drill. We'll see how it holds up.
