I'm not sure what type of wax is sold for waxing traps...I see MN Trapline sells wax chunks that are sifted and removed from their flake wax...I'm wondering if soy flake wax would work?

I saw that at hobby lobby.
I was concerned it might have an odor so I didn’t buy it.
They had paraffin wax beads, I used that for my waxed dirt and bought the big block for traps.

I wouldn’t use soy anything for a trap. Apparently some fiber company used soy oil as their base for their sheathing on their fiber…squirrels love it!!! Guess you could say job security, lol.

It's Soy based insulation on electrical wire on your vehicles.

That makes sense. Had a buddy that spent umpteen amount of money on wiring on his truck…twice! He decided it was cheaper to remove all the trees than replace entire harnesses.
