H2ORat trapper H Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 2,462 Oregon	They floated the "spruce goose" on barges up the willamette within 2 miles of my house. It is pretty impressive inside as they have made it into the centerpiece of the air museum. I would like to see the dornier though.

But it never gained enough altitude to get out of ground effect. It never actually "flew" and there is only speculation as to whether or not it actually could have.
