What is the value of a Ruger No. 1 in .257 Roberts? Red butt pad, walnut and blued with plain barrel. Appears to have been shot very little if any at all. Thanks to all

Several months ago a new old stock 257 Roberts Ruger #1 sold for $1524 at a gun dealer in N Carolina. You can expect to pay depending on condition in the neighborhood or $1150 to $1350 for a used one In my experience most of the used ones for sale are in pretty good condition and hold their resale value. And the ones chambered for less common calibers will sell for$1500 to $1800 .Unless the seller is very motivated you will find very few for sale for less than $1000.

Yup. These have went way up in the past few years.

Cool rifles.
