Grass won’t grow back in like a week or two? Or do you keep mowing or weed whacking?

This was very high grass and weeds. It will grow back but not much. Also I normally don’t do this until a October so by that time it grows very little.

Gotcha. Was out riding this evening moving some cameras around and saw a covey of baby quail that could barely fly. Went to another area and decided to walk since the grass was high, and jumped another covey of babies that couldn’t even fly enough to make it out of the tall grass. We only mow the main roads due to quail. This is the third hatch of the year. We get lucky on good years and some will hatch and raise two broods over the summer. We never mow any feed trails or block anything until after Oct 1, by then everything should be able to get out of the way of the tractors.
