Anyone enjoy the older westerns? This is from 1943. Was made into a movie with Alan Ladd and Robert Preston

Riders of the Purple Sage. Zane Grey That is a good one. Check out King Charlies Riders which is my favorite western novel. Max Brand wrote it..

I have every book Louis La'mour wrote. Some of the short stories aren't Western but are fascinating, especially the South Sea ones about him being a sailor. He was a man's man. When Lamour passed away, my dad and I were ticked. He was supposed to write more Sackett novels
