That will be okay until you get so old that what ain't broke leaks, then you gonna have problems.

My right hand and wrist has had four surgeries and has four bone grafts with three surgical screws inserted. I think it gets cold at 50 degrees. I wear the jersey gloves with a hand warmer in them. Left hand has also had four surgeries and I do the same with it. In the winter I carry at least one extra pair with others in zip lock bags stored in places I am at often. It works good until they get wet and have to be changed and the jerseys are easier for me to get off and on.
