A buck we got quite a few pics of from spring tell now. Just thought I'd share for those who might be interested. Any guesses on what he'll score?

Hadn't hunted or ran cameras on this property for a few years so I don't really have much history with him. I have a hard time guessing my own deer I usually guess them low trying to b conservative I guess. I didn't think he'd go 170s with short brows and 4ths but he does have fairly long beams. I'm saying that I'm holding out for the big one or nothing this year so this one will get a pass from me if I can stay strong. Doubt the boys will pass him if he gives them a chance.

He is definitely a shooter but of course we should all wait for Jbyrd to score him!

Beams are a solid 22-23” or better based off one of your pics. So you looking close to 45-48” just in beams. I’ll give him 18” on spread. He held his mass well after the velvet so you’re looking at 36-40” there. So 103-111” without tines. Say 50-55” in tine length. So very conservatively…153-166”
And that’s being very conservative…I’d go more with mid 160’s or even a tad better. Something like that walks by me and I’m sending an arrow and give you a dead on measurement, lol.

And the fact that his body is probably well over 200 lbs LW......I'd say 160s is conservative. He will likely make B&C.

I'm going to try and hold out for the giant I posted earlier. Guessing north of 200. Haven't seen him since July but I feel obligated to dedicate at least one season to him or else I'll always wonder what if. The really bad thing is we have some local poachers that I believe know about him and are already hitting the area at night when cold fronts come through. So I have two things I'm hunting this year..... Boys say they want to hold out for big one too but they say they probably can't pass this one up if he comes by so I'm sure they are going to shoot him if they get a chance. We get regular pics of him and some during day light so he's pretty hunt able. We have a couple others that are pretty big that will tempt them also. We will see

I passed this one this morning…may not again if I see him, lol. May not look big in the pics, but he was a solid 150ish and with a bow I’ll take him. I was waiting on another buck that didn’t show. Oh yeah, look under the 07 of the first pic in the second pic and you can see me, or partially me, lol.
