They couldn't care less about gas prices or the middle class. All they care about is letting boys use the girls restroom. You are giving the leftists WAAAAAAAAY too much credit.

I agree 100%. I once heard that in China 3rd Graders were being taught calculus.

That's not 16.4% per barrel. I found three different sources that said three different things. Maybe the text in the law isn't clear or journalism is dead America. smile

Correct. The article I read this morning said 16.4% per barrel...can't find it now. The one I posted above MAY be a typo because I am certain the author knows that crude isn't sold by the gallon.

Do you really think the law could be unclear ? Or that journalism is dead ?

$2.98 here. Governor has continued allowing the state gas tax to be withheld.

Oil Prices Jump As OPEC+ Considers 2 Million Bpd Production Cut
Oct 04, 2022, 10:45 AM CDT

Anonymous OPEC delegates: OPEC+ may consider 2 million bpd production cuts.
Despite the growing worry of a severe global recession and the impact that would have on oil demand, the OPEC+
group feels that the markets are largely ignoring market fundamentals.

Brent soared to $92 per barrel on the news of a larger-than-expected OPEC+ output cut.

I went into HEB in Marble Falls yesterday afternoon and noticed regular gasoline was $2.88 per gallon at the fuel bay. When I came out about 45 minutes later it was $2.99.

It is $2.84 up in San Angelo, and $2.74 down in Mission in the valley and $2.25 at Pasadena.

The delivery cost drives up the price out in the rural areas.

Cheapest in western Washington is usually sold by the tribes (no State gas tax).
Today it was $5.15
However, today I noticed that diesel was $5.05; First time that diesel has been cheaper than gasoline in quite a while.
