I was thinking I asked this question yesterday but I must not have: would putting pine needles around the trap jaws/lever/springs help encourage them to step on the open pan?

The other thing is we're getting 1-2 inches of snow tonight. I'm thinking about just using one of those hand brushes tomorrow and lightly cleaning the snow off and re-exposing the pan. 'Curious how you guys do it. I think a leaf blower would screw up my wax dirt and cover hulls.

Thanks
