If they are boco, do you think it's freedom not to be able to carry a firearm?

I’m realistic enough to know bans don’t stop gangs.
I also know of nobody personally this will affect. I’ve got much bigger things to worry about really.
I also think that if carrying a gun is your definition of freedom you’ve taken that myth hook line and sinker.

Not sure if I’ll kill grouse today with a .410 or if I’ll hunt big game with something bigger.

Boco is right about one thing, quit believing everything you read or watch on some RW wing nuts page or YouTube channel, you sound every bit as silly as the far left dopes who say things like “farming needs to stop”.

I wonder sometimes if Boco is demonstrating Canadian logic or just Boco logic.

The man queen will be after your .410 and bigger rifles next. Don't forget that.

Having as much firearms as you was is not about being scared it about the right to keep the sitting government in check. When that is taken away then the power hungry can do what they want to whom they want. But when the government knows that it's citizens have as much firepower as they need to fight back well let's just say it's part of the checks and balance system we have.

No matter where you go there you are.

I’d place a bet with you but there is honestly no way to collect. My kids will be laying down monster deer, elk, moose, speedgoats etc at the cost of a handshake long after I’m dead and gone and most Iowa kids today won’t be able to afford a lease to get on ground to kill anything. But they’ll be free. Lol

Don’t forget that.

Honestly, how on earth can you buy into the idea that civilians with guns can take on your military? Lol

Does Canada have game regulations? Don't you think the communists that control Canada also have their hands on game regulations? Your kids may not be bagging game legally in the near future, especially with the climate change wackadoos who seemingly control most things in western society.

Honest question rvsak - do you really think your government will stop with a freeze on handguns? Your government, and mine, sure seem to signal otherwise.

Honestly, how on earth can you think that having the choice to either carry a handgun or not carry a handgun constitutes less freedom than not having that choice at all? I don't need to have a reason; I don't need to justify my choices; I don't need to worry about the choices I make. I can simply exercise that choice according to my whims and no one else's.

That's freedom.

Let Canada do Canada.

It is odd that so many on here care so much about what A DIFFERENT COUNTRY decides to do. Those guys should instead celebrate the opportunity to fantasize about invading a less armed neighbor.

As long as I can still go up and fish now and then I see no need to invade. whistle

Steer clear of the Covid death camps and don't open a bank account according to the T Man geopolitical experts.

Next on the list will be those pesky " sniper rifles " or whatever scary name they can come up with to take away the bolt action guns. And so it continues till all ya got is a stick without a point on it. Look at the UK where ya can't go out in public with so much as a pocket knife in places and where you have to fill out a risk assessment form when you have a screwdriver in you pocket when working on an outside distribution box etc. But there the gubberment can implement whatever they want as no one can push back.
They will not stop to infringe on liberties until they are stopped by force.

Let's go Brandon

"Shall not comply" with morons who don't understand "shall not infringe."

Jkeith, nowhere did I say that carrying a handgun means less freedom, nowhere. Freedom comes in many forms, it isn’t just found in guns.

Game/hunting laws are provincial. Thinking anyone is coming for hunting here is 100 % delusional and alarmist. Life’s too short to buy into everything that is put out there to work you up.

Trapdog, thanks for spending your tourism dollars here. We all know how good our outdoors are. I’m surprised you want to give our man Queen your money though.

My 18 year old has spent the last 5 weeks hunting every day before and after work for elk, moose, mules and whitetails over more private land acres than many Americans will ever access for free. He’s also trapping beavers around the pounds where he sees moose. Most days a gun, sometimes two spend the entire day in his backseat. That’s a reality in life where I am. I know those expert youtube pages paint a different picture though.

My choice to carry a gun is not the definition of my freedoms. It's a consequence of my freedoms.
