Yeah, going to bring some more of my 110s that are rigged on Hagz spring clips and some carrots. I need to experiment and see if they'll go after carrots since I would like to get more traps out.

TheYouthTrapper OP trapper T Joined: Jun 2022 Posts: 1,452 South Dakota	Might also experiment with some lure and see if they'll come to it too or not. Lots of places to put traps but no feed beds or toilets and the huts have very little water by them.

TheYouthTrapper OP trapper T Joined: Jun 2022 Posts: 1,452 South Dakota	First catch/haul of the 2022/2023 trapping season! 1 mink and 13 rats, the mink is my first caught in a trap, and a colony trap at that. I'm so excited, I got the wood stove in the fur shed drying the rats to be skinned tomorrow night. Didn't set any traps today but plan to go out tomorrow and check/set a whole bunch more since we're already going to get some ice this weekend and maybe some snow next week.

I made my wife a frame just like that for drying wool fiber on after washing. It has also served double duty as a drying rack for rats, mink and otter.
