Here's a pretty simple hat pattern.

Fur hat pattern

Crazy Crow Trading Post also has a few fur hat patterns available.

Just about all the old muzzleloading supply stores have them Roy. Dixie Gun Works as well as Log Cabin among the best.

i design my own patterns.
I have come up with many over the years.
Not really that hard to do with a cloth tape measure, cardboard, ruler/straight edge, and pen and scissors.
Once your patterns are made, then cut your pattern pieces to fit the blocked pelt you are working with. This results in almost 100% use of the skin and very little left over fur pieces.
If you make a lot of hats etc, save all the pieces and sort by roughly different sizes. Then you can make plates out of similar sized pieces.

The very first fur hat I made,I cut apart a winter hard hat liner from work and made a pattern out of it for a fur hat.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
