https://youtube.com/shorts/neDW9Hh5YV0?feature=shareBobby driving us home with a load of caribou. We had a medical emergency with my grandpa in the middle of nowhere the day before the video was taken. We had to drop everything and race over 2 hours to town. Luckily I have my advanced wilderness first aid. I was able to revive him twice before all 3 of us were forced to jump on one machine and b line for town. He’s ok now but I sure thought we lost him that day. Me and Bobby along with a couple of our friends went back the next day to pick up everything we left. Glad I didn’t inherit granddaddy’s gun just yet. I’m Still struggling to sleep since it happened. Looking forward to checking 130+ traps this weekend though. I saw that video on social media. Glad to hear that your grandpa is okay and tell Bobby that I admire his strengths and talents - he is an impressive young man from what you've shared with us.
Chris

Good to hear Gramps made it and is OK. There are a lot of worse places to check out than out in the bush on a trapline though. That’s my preferred way to go. Mine is by jealous husband. I don’t want to be guilty, I just want my street cred....

Put your good boots up high ! With training the pup can be a useful tool on the line and other times as well .
