Doubt I’ll ever vote again in NY. Geez that'll help You are delusional if you think voting for Rep. , would make much of a difference, just look at some of the lame candidates they put for election. ie: Walker, Oz.

Doubt I’ll ever vote again in NY. I hope you vote everytime. This was the closest a GOP candidate has got to winning in NY in a long time for the gov race. For some reason, there is a huge vote difference for the rest of the racea compared to the governor. GOP definitely showed out in New York, but the State GOP needs to keep doing work. You do know what the definition of insanity is don’t you ?

Doubt I’ll ever vote again in NY. Please don't give in. Too many people have and that part of the problem. Or if your doubt of voting is because your moving out of NY I wish you all the best Hocul, Shumer, and Letia James only won with a little over 50 percent each. So close to have people just not vote Same question to you, you know what the definition of insanity is , right ?

Hobbie I think you're missing the point I was making. Trump did not need to respond every time someone said something that ticked him off. Sometimes it's best to say nothing at all. When he'd pop off all the time the media knew they were getting under his skin so it was never ending. Being abrasive is one thing, doing it all the time turns people off, sorry to tell you that. I liked when he'd bark back but then it got to the point he needed to just shut up and move on. He just wouldn't do it though. I agree with you. It was Trump's support in the primaries that gave us poor candidates , Oz, Walker and Michels in WI. He should have stayed out of it and said he would support whoever the nominee was. His ego would not allow that. His latest "DeSanctimonious" attack was the final nail for me. I hope he stays on the sidelines now.

I think it's kinda naive how some of ya'll think any conservative is going to get a fair shake in the media. They will all be demonized. They will be called an extreme, divisive, white supremist on a daily basis. Terrorists that will destroy the country if elected. It doesn't matter who it is. Some can stand up for themselves and hit back (desantis) and some just make themselves look increasingly foolish (walker).

It was fuel for the msm who hated him and every thing he stood for. Now, in the midst of the midterm election, he states that he will be making an important announcement on a certain date in November. This was a distraction that could have had an impact on the election maybe. As a person, I didn't particularly care for Trump, but he had the country moving in the right direction. However, I feel it's time for him to move on. I'm not sure his pride will let him do that. I feel DeSantis should be the republican candidate for 2024, not Trump.

When the horse is gone does it matter who left the barn door open?
No matter what happened they were going to keep power...this is an unprecedented mid term result. When Trump won in 2016 'they' set about seeing that 'they' would never loose power again. Anyone who thinks that 2024 will be any different is not sane.
There will have to be an extreme crisis for this to turn around and it may not happen even then.

Apparently, high gas prices, high costs for food and heating fuel, rising crime, drugs coming across the border resulting in many deaths....none of this matters. It will be interesting to see how these same people who voted this way will feel then they experience the pinch two years from now. If we even have a viable country by then.
These election results will certainly encourage Biden to run again in 2024. He probably feels he's been doing a wonderful job as president. That the polls mean nothing.
