Ringneck1 trapper R Joined: Feb 2018 CO	Had a tri-star sa 20 that had the habitat of slam firing in rapid succession. Fun but a bit alarming the first time. Couldn't give it to the grandkid that way so parted it out. Aside from that, been most disappointed with Rem 870's. Won two of them over the years at banquets. Both by far worse than a Mossberg 835 that I abused to pieces in the snow goose fields. Neither 870 would stand up to the difficult conditions in the snow goose field. Wind, dirt and moisture and they would were inoperable. Happy to see them go.

It's not like hp would get much penetration in a 32 acp anyway. wasn't that an Heritage Ruff Ryder an HRR not a H&R which is a Harrington and Richardson ? America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

GREENCOUNTYPETE trapper G Joined: Sep 2013 Green County Wisconsin	wasn't mine , but my son decided he wanted to buy it when he turned 18 , his first 4473 , Taurus 12ga single shot 100 dollars at a local shop weighed like 3.5 pounds , but shooting it loosened your fillings a trap load was ok a box of them you felt , a turkey load 3 inch 1 1/2 oz was just abusive he sold it America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Sent it to H&R who could not improve it and did nothing. Ithaca 37 Deerslayer. Would only cycle and eject Federal slugs which had the thinnest measured rim of all slugs. Accuracy was so bad that I passed on a close shot at a monster buck. Feared I might only wound it so passed. FRAC LIVES MATTER

Bigbrownie trapper B Joined: Mar 2018 Pa.	Three come to mind. Mossberg 835….kicked badly and jammed often. Mossberg 9200…jammed often also. And a .22 RG Rohm pistol. Fire and lead would fly out of the cylinder, I’d miss on dispatch shots from 3-4 feet.

I had two, one would fire and the next shell in line would just get shoved back into the magazine when shucked. The second would dump the shells in the magazine on the ground between your feet when shucked. A good friend of mine, a shooting buddy, had one that would do the same thing. We both called Browning about the issue and were told all three times "Don't send it to us, we won't touch it". Now I'm pretty good on or with Model 12 guns and I couldn't figure it out. I have about two dozen of them.

I'm not an expert on Carcanos,but my experience with this one I find it impossible that anyone could connect on a moving target consistently with one.Theres a reason why of all axis firearms brought back by G.I's the Carcano was the least desirable.All the deer camps I've been in and all the military rifles I've saw hunters use I can honestly say I never saw one.My only memory of one was a guy looking for rounds for his before deer season here in Michigan at the old Jays Sporting Goods in Clare. RustyShacklefrd trapper R Joined: Jan 2021 Ontario	Wanna be a guy I know bought the same gun in 223 and had a ton of issues with head spacing, etc. Ruger had to replace the whole rifle. I love rugers, just the American didnt fit well with me . They updated the mags on the newer ones, i think they are much better now. Replaced it with an older huskavara and I love it

salemtrapper trapper S Joined: Jan 2016 missouri	Ruger sr40 wife bought it for me went shooting, after 3 shots I pulled the trigger for the 4th and nothing then boom it was shot with a delay. Did some research and I guess it is a frame issue multiple complaints about this issue.

I had forgotten / blocked the carcano's memory paid 50 bucks for it sporterized in the 90s at a gun show then went to buy ammo for it and spent 40 dollars on 40 rounds should have just bought a 89 dollar SKS would have been way ahead sold it for 75 with what was left of the ammo to the next guy who wanted to try it America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

BigBob trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 St. Louis Co, Mo	A POS Savage O/U .22/20 ga. shotgun barrel was ok, but the rifle barrel on top shot 4-5 inches low @ 20 yds, and only got worse at longer ranges. Every kid needs a Dog and a Curmudgeon. Remember Bowe Bergdahl, the traitor. Beware! Jill Pudlewski, Ron Oates and Keven Begesse are liars and thiefs!
