How many times have we seen guys post about traps, guns, knives, etc that they wish they kept? Unless you need the money keep them.

I did a count the other day. I have = 457 coyote traps. I like the = NO BS wire lever jr. I want 10 dz more of those. I will use them in Alabama. And could leave my MJ 600 Sterlings where I work in Texas. So I have to many coyote traps I dont use. I know longer want the MB 550s. So I could sell them and get them out of my barn and out of mt way. No real rush. Want be home till Christmas. Then I have to go back to West Texas and work till Feb 10th or so. So just checking = what is a fair price?

8 dozen at $325 = $2,600.
Pro chain, shock spring, 4 welded swivels, and end link all setup = $10 per trap. (Probably much more actually.)
96 traps at $10 = $960.
Speed dip = Bonus
Total = $3,560.

I believe that good condition current used gear is worth 50% to 75% of new price considering condition and the current economic conditions and the trap market situation. Price agreed upon is very subjective.

50% = $1,780.
75% = $2,670.
Average between them (62.5%) is $2,037.50.

A price of $2,500 saves the buyer more than $1,000 and the time gathering components, building the chain, welding, and speed dipping. To a busy man, saving time is valuable.

So, in my opinion the fair market value is $2,500 - that is why I threw out the inquiry if you would accept $2,500.

Instead of sending me an Independent evaluation fee of $200, please send that amount as a donation to the Trapperman discretionary fund. Ha!

you will be hard pressed to find people to spend 20.00 on used mb550s, reguardless of stake ends,. Imo.15-16$ is top end on used 550s.

I'm in the same boat want to run the ko Jr have 15 550 offsets for 250 or a dozen Jr's in trade anyone want to make my day?

Just sold last 60 of my MB 550s. Well almost all. May have 7 or 8 laying around for = Middle of road sets
