we got over 3 inches of rain in two days now its all snow

We are as dry as I’ve seen it and that’s saying something. Ponds I’ve never seen go dry are being cleaned out. I was farming by a small towns sewer evaporation ponds yesterday and one of the two ponds is bone dry now. Crazy.

We've been getting a good amount of rain/snow/sleet lately; hopefully the White Oak acorns I planted this fall will thrive. I think they put down a tap root in the winter but I could be wrong

Been raining for 4 day's, nice gentle soaker. Glad it ain't snow!

We are still far below normal. Ground water is really, really low. About 5 miles from my home there was a about a 4-5 acres slough with 9-11 rat houses in it. It started to dry last year and there were 4. This fall the farmer has chisel plowed the field twice! We to an inch of rain before the 3 inches of sopping wet snow last night. With little to no frost in the ground hopefully much of that will soak in.

Wish I could send you some of our excess. Ground here is saturated and standing water in every low spot and creeks are rolling from the runoff and it is not even raining that hard, just steady.
