Actor OP trapper Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 6,704 Newark, Ohio 83 years	Surprisingly I caught a coon at my friend's house... 14 lbs 1 oz. Not a bad looking coon except for this... About this size of a quarter... I think I know what it is, but need the experts to verify my thoughts. I have never seen one on a coon before and was really surprised. Have any of you seen them before on a coon? I have seen them on plenty of squirrels, rabbits and deer, but never coon. Garry- “Don't pick a fight with an old man. Since I don't give my pelts away to some Chinaman, I tan them. This quarter size damage doesn't hurt the pelt at all since it is basically on the belly where the fur isn't worth anything.
