As I read the list, it shows the Ruger No. 1 single shot rifle on the new Canada Banned Gun List

You obviously don't own a No. 1. Most shoot "fair" but most that I have had aren't tack drivers and need the forearm screw fiddled with.

And I read this enough to have keep me from buying the over priced single shots.

What about the ruger no.3?

I own or have owned a half dozen. I had a 1A 7x57 that was an honest 1 inch gun. I had a new 300 H&H that would do 2.5 inches on a good day. I have one in a 280 now but I have never taken it out of the box. If I want a tack driver, the No. 1 doesn't even make the Top 20.

Just sold one I’d never fired. Partner of mine has a few and a slice of rubber twice the thickness of a bike inner tube between barrel and stock at the fore screw really brings them around.

TOO Many Jewels of energy if you chamber it in 460 Weatherby mag mag 10,000 jewels but they went even further to specifically call out all Ruger #1 rifles by name

their goal is to make sure you can't have a 50bmg firing gun but ended up banning a bunch of big game rifles in the process.

the 460 Weatherby mag wasn't even a factory available chambering

and the video does a good job of telling you the Fish and game states they need an AR-10 to defend themselves from bear but you can't have one

Every semi.is an assault rifle
Every shotgun is a street sweeper
Every other rifle is a sniper rifle

I used to have my eye on 1 in Dallas ,Wisc. Late 80's

Haven't wanted one since.

Traded mine a couple of years ago. It was a pretty thing, 25-06, bull barrel, set trigger. I didn't really have an application that made sense for it and have a Browning B78 that is a real shooter and carries much easier.
