Fried hoop cheese was a favorite of my Dad so we all ate it.

Another one of Dad's favorites was sorghum syrup or molasses stirred together with soft butter and sopped with a biscuit. Good stuff!

Cornbread crumbled in a glass of milk was a staple at our house.

And hot lemonade does a body good too.

sarma, (cabbage balls) which is steam a head of cabbage till the leaves will separate, filling is ground pork/beef mix with onion, garlic, uncooked rice, seasoning. size wrapper how you like but i remember them being fist size or smaller, layer in a roasting pan & smothered in tomato sauce.
