Quote
Fur ban (AB-44)
Signed into law in 2019, it makes California the first state to ban the sale and manufacture of new fur products. Lawmakers had given retailers enough time to phase over and make the changes necessary.

The fur law bars residents from selling or making clothing, shoes or handbags with fur starting in 2023.

The fur ban doesn’t apply to used products or those used for religious or tribal purposes. And it excludes the sale of leather, dog and cat fur, cowhides, deer, sheep and goat skin and anything preserved through taxidermy.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Thanks for the update danny. Seems the Greenies have no clue as to how the world turns. Electric cars and poly fabrics. How natural. Not. Any of it.
Lies and deceptions, all of it.

Blessings,
Mark

I wouldn't care if the cockroaches were not migrating. Let em live how they want. What torques my jaw is they are even migrating into KS and want to tell me how to live. I believe am a pretty good neighbor till somebody thinks they know better than me how I should live.

The only good thing is that just like Texans, within two-three minutes they make sure your aware of where they came from.

It's backwards altogether. Jed is supposed to move to California, California ain't supposed to be moving to Jed's place.

Perhaps you are being too good of a neighbor?

Like I always point out, how a society lives - person to person - DOES affect the whole of the group. The live and let live sounds good on paper and proclaimed from the rooftops....
but it doesn't work that way because people are involved and what people do as a WHOLE has ALWAYS had implications for all that y'alls.
So Cali, which is the most populace state will move to Kansas and everywhere else and they will bring their lifestyles with them.
We reap what we sow as a nation.
History repeats and repeats and repeats.

Blessings,
Mark

I think sooner or later such laws will end up in the SCOTUS. It seems to be that such a law violates the "interstate commerce law" that has been argued numerous times before SCOTUS.

"And God said, Let us make man in our image and let them have dominion and all the creatures that move along the ground".
Genesis 1:26

Will not matter, CA will just ignore any ruling against them from the SC, just like NY did in the Bruen decision.

Looks like you can still market things made from dogs and cats? If I'm reading that right there is time to corner that market!

Mark I don't care what someone else chooses for a lifestyle. That live and let live needs to work both ways though. But for them it doesn't. Its just lip service. They want me to live like they do. Eat TOFU, feel guilty for being white, feel guilty for being a man. If they want to support deadbeats I am fine with it. I just want to live the way thats right for me and mine.

A good example is forcing a bakery to sell a gay couple a cake but tell a different business its okay to discriminate against christians. Personally I got no problem with any private business refusing service to anyone for any reason, but the rules need to be the same for all of us. I dont try to get laws passed that force liberal vegetarians to eat meat and I resent them trying to pass laws that will force me to live on rabbit food.

Oh, that breaking point.....

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
