DEER WOODS MURDER: THE DAY A TRESSPASSER KILLED SIX HUNTERS

5 episodes in and I’m hooked. With these murder mysteries involving firearms I’m always baffled when they take note of the position of the dead bodies and come to a definitive conclusion. Yes some details can be gleaned from this but anyone who has done a lot hunting and shooting knows critters can do strange things after fatal shots are fired. You never hear this mentioned in any of these shows. A fatally shot raccoon does not just drop dead and cease moving every time. We’ve all seen them do backflips somersaults and flop around 15 ft from where they were shot. Not sure if these shows think this is too much for the publics imaginations or what but I have never heard any acknowledgment of this in these shows. Anyways! At this point I believe Jeff is innocent, a loud mouth but not a murderer. Still a lot of episodes to go.

This one happened within ear shot of our hunting camp. I remember the planes and police presence. When it was happening we thought they were driving deer as the shots were spaced out like one would expect from a big group kicking deer around. Still gives me chills thinking it could have been us as we also have stands visible from public land. We heard shots after dark that night back on the public land spaced out about every ten minutes and figured he had friends looking to pick him up and get him out of the area.

Way more to the story than that. At trial Chai vang said the first guy deserved to die for flipping him off. He shot multiple people in the back and executed wounded people laying on the ground.

Definitely going to be a lawsuit over that.
