Majority with feet on, couple years worth, couple freezers now empty...almost time to start again.

Good job man.
Tanned otter sell very well,at a fair price.
I can get a little more for the ones with feet on but they dont sell as fast.

Iowa,
Thanks ! I had a market for long time at $40 green with feet, but it's now gone. I have hard time wanting to sell put up ones for twenty twenty five. I have pile of tanned ones on hand. I need swap some for making me a blanket. I know where a fur sewing machine is but Idk if I need another hobby/job. Wish I coulda tried that frost scraping you talk about.

Iowa,
Definitely. Would like to watch some others scrape otter. I worked 9 years for fur buyer but it was mostly coon and we used a mill's vibrating knife scraping machine.

Iowa,
I get 40-60/yr on my bvr control contracts. Sell the heads and glands. Just can't turn that nice fur loose cheap.

Looking good Dean! I wish I had the equipment to sew furs, I think I'd enjoy it.

Iowa,
Yeah I need to spend some hours marketing. I spend 6 months on timber type contracts then play catch up for the rest of life's responsibilities. Thanks Jamie. If I decide not to pursue the fur sewing machine I'll l let you know where it is.

If you're on Facebook might try posting them in Matt Jones group. More than a few buyers there. Might be interested in a collection like that!

If you do, you can't post a price per FB rules... just say something like "for discussion" and buyers will PM you if interested.

And here I complain about my 3-6 a year -- Are they from our direction or your neck of the woods?
