I had about 2 feet last week, and this morning it looks like my shoveled deck has about 6 or 8 inches on it. Light fluffy stuff that will really blow around when the wind starts.

It's bad enough here with 4-5 inches of blowing snow, and that is about all we're expected to get. Can't imagine what you're dealing with up there!

So far, we've gotten about 6". Blizzard may have already started with 25 mph NW winds. They love to stress the feels like temps. Ours will be -30° to -40°F. Time will tell.

yes, the wind will be a big factor, they are saying 40+ miles a hour for over 24 hours

A dusting so far and wind has not started yet. They say should start here around 9.

Good luck up there, Roy. Depends on the weatherman/weatherlady, but they are saying we Trolls are in for 1-2 feet here in my neck of the woods, more near the lake. I have firewood in, propane to cook on if the juice goes out, and my generator is filled with fuel and ready to work if need be. My bum shoulder won't be fixed til late next month, so shoveling snow is off limits for this old has-been. I'm just a spectator this time around.

We had rain and sleet here on the first pass then snow, the ones that had just snow got a bunch of it. Here it’s the wind that causes the big problems for us with huge drifts in places and bare fields nearby.
