Another thread got me thinking about this old TV show.
This montage is from 1969, over 50 years ago. It's amazing how some things don't change, and also how prophetic some things were that they mentioned.
Funny good old fashion humor. I remember at the time though my folks weren't too enthused about me watching the show.

The church lady was always a favorite. Look that up in your Funk and Wagnals.


Some individuals use statistics as a drunk man uses lamp-posts — for support rather than for illumination.

Yep! I agree Drifter. The Church Lady was one of many on SNL that made me giggle. Others were Eddie Murphy doing Mr. Robinsons neighborhood and anything Stefon by Bill Hader. Great stuff.
