Does anyone have any thoughts on this subject? Do you think there are significant numbers of folks who discretely pack while at church?

You do know that churches are full of sinners, right?

It's not the sinners I'm worried about (of which I am one), it's the psychopaths and crazy ex-spouses that concern me at times.

when I went to church , we knew who each other were

there are guys at the range that are ushers and greeters , at their church they have a "security" crew made up of the usshers and greeters.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Well I do, I saw another guy today with his inside the wast hoster but didn't tuck his shirt in over it so open carrying. I know two of the head of the church do. I'm sure there are more but I know there were 4 today.

My thoughts are no one in my church seemed to take issues with it when the leaders are doing so. I wouldn't attend a church that had a problem with it.

Everyone should carry everywhere they legally can IMO.

ADC nailed it, I don’t want to be sitting in church with my family and some psycho comes in and starts shooting and I have no way to defend my family

I have been to a couple of services where it was obvious that people were carrying. No reason not to IMO, just as many crazy (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) attacks in churches as anywhere else. There have been a couple of church shootings that ended abruptly in the past when packing parishioners ended the situation.

I carry 90% of the time I am not at work (work policy says I cannot carry on premises), church included

Everyone should carry if they are able

Used to was (sic), it was against the law to carry a firearm into a place of worship. In Mo anyway, and still is.

If I am not welcome to carry someplace I just don't go there.

I have nothing clever to put here.

I wonder if there are other States like MO that prohibit it? Stupid law; as though someone with murder on their minds would follow a law like that.

Not legal here unless endorsed by the church. At my sister's church ( Omaha area), there are a couple guys that take turns sitting in the narthex, 'packing heat'.

Group of folks, here, 'broke off ' from the American Lutheran Church, and built a new one. The new church sponsored ccw permits for those interested in carrying.
