Senior in High school. Hunting, fishing, trapping and enough schoolwork to get me by.

i was working at local papermill. putting 12 hour shifts 7 days a week, for the next year and a half also setting a few fox traps

Building houses, remodeling homes, fishing like there was no tomorrow, wandering the state of Maine looking for more fishing spots, wondering where all the newbie trappers were coming from, chasing fur with the enthusiasm and vigor of a youngster.
Working on my 4th graduate degree and headed for my piled higher and deeper degree at the University of Life.

Graduated high school, trapping big buck muskrats and beaver, good days

4 years old. In the UP. Just NW of KI Paul and and just North of Tom Mirandas cabin. Introduced to trapping from my Dad. I can still picture that beaver nailed on a board and a couple rats on stretchers. Yup, my Dad and I still trap together.

In high school, eating government cheese, taking any job I could find to save money for college, and dreaming of owning a good trapping truck some day.

I was working on a research project with Delta Waterfowl and early spring started with NC Wildlife.
When I was not working I was hunting, fishing or trapping. Oh and dating my now wife.
I think it was the cooler full of magnum bull frogs that won her over.

I woke up, went downtown to look for a job, then I hung out in front of the drugstore.

I was 2 in May of that year. Somewhere in Evansville IN but other than that?

I was four.

Just getting used to the old USA after a 13 year vacation overseas......jk

I was at Fort Polk La. , Fort Irwin California desert training, then to England for a month of training.
