I'm looking to make the switch to POGO anchors after this season. I have wolf fangs, super stakes, and thin sheet metal anchors. I do have some questions though.

Do they work well for coyotes or should I keep the super stakes for that job?

Where do you find the fender washers where they aren't super expensive?

What is the best cable to use for an all around anchor?

Can you just crimp the ferrules in a vice or is it worth getting a bench swager?

What is the best size for an all around anchor?

And another question about how they kind of work. I use wolf fangs and I have had the ferrules pop open multiple times with a puller but with POGOs, that should happen right? I only ask this because that seems to be the case with the J-hook. I would think that the J-hook would open and save your cable or am I wrong in thinking that?

Thanks in advance!

Yes. All we use for coyotes besides drags.

Where do you find the fender washers where they aren't super expensive?

Fastenal. Or online.

What is the best cable to use for an all around anchor?

We use 7x7 3/32

Can you just crimp the ferrules in a vice or is it worth getting a bench swager?

Get a bench swager, handheld swager, or use a hammer. Not a vice.

What is the best size for an all around anchor?

1 1/2" for land. 2" for mucky mud.

And another question about how they kind of work. I use wolf fangs and I have had the ferrules pop open multiple times with a puller but with POGOs, that should happen right? If I understand your questions... ferrules shouldn't be popping open! Are those ones you did in a vice? Pulling Pogos I've had two things happen... the fender washer buckles in half, or the cable itself snaps. Never a ferrule.

If you are planning to reuse pogos I wouldn't pull them, auger them out with your dirt hole drill.

Is there a tractor supply around you?
They sell hardware by the # and are the cheapest around here

I have never made my own earth anchors before, only one that I have gotten from other people and bought from trap supply stores.

I don't have a drill for my auger yet.

Yes, there is. I'll compare that price to Fastenal.
