One year with cable and I had enough. Chain attaches with a S hook that has to be welded shut or it will open up while driving in and pulling out. If you want to not have pull the anchor and just cut and run when pulling traps then cable put if not I just like chain better for several reasons
What was the problem Seth? I’ve been using cable for a few years and like it. If it pulls up a bit it’s a pain in the butt bedding traps on a remake but other than that I get along good with it. Curious why you didn’t like it. Thanks
Everything the left touches it destroys

Curious why you didn’t like it. Thanks Broke a few pulling them , got tired of the end sticking up in the way and had one fail and lost a trap. Chain just seemed a better option for me. The one that failed, I don't know if I hammered the annealed nut too tight or what happened. Just a frayed cable left sticking up at the set. I have broke a couple chains pulling in frozen ground but the chain is much stronger than the cable.
