"By 1844 the British government had concluded that the Columbia River boundary line would have to be abandoned, and the Hudsons Bay Company moved its chief Northwest depot to Fort Victoria (now Victoria, B.C.). In spite of the Fifty-four forty or fight slogan of James K. Polks 1844 presidential campaign, the 49th parallel was accepted by both the United States and Canada as the boundary, and the Oregon country became a U.S. territory in 1846. Its territorial boundaries, which extended initially between the 49th and 42nd parallels and from the Pacific Ocean to west of the crest of the Rocky Mountains, were revised to include what is now Idaho."

They talkin about sending uke some very modern tanks, maybe abrams from the US inventory. I believe they are sending some polish tanks....right now. If the uke's try and take crimea it will get to another level..

The continued delivery of Western weapons to Ukraine will provoke retaliation from Russia and will "lead to a global catastrophe," a Russian parliamentary leader warned Sunday.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/worl...mp;cvid=09510c726b68463280f89421f4f124d5

"With their decisions, Washington and Brussels are leading the world to a terrible war: to a completely different military action than today, when strikes are carried out exclusively on the military and critical infrastructure used by the Kyiv regime," Volodin said.

"Given the technological superiority of Russian weapons, foreign politicians making such decisions need to understand that this could end in a global tragedy that will destroy their countries," he added.

"Arguments that the nuclear powers have not previously used weapons of mass destruction in local conflicts are untenable. Because these states did not face a situation where there was a threat to the security of their citizens and the territorial integrity of the country."

Whoever uses nukes first is comitting suicide.
Ukes have no nukes so they wont use them, and the west wont supply them or use nukes first.
So if there is any use of nukes it will be russia who's responsible for "global catastrophy" nobody else.
Ukes have no Nukes-hey that rhymes.

japan had no nukes in 1945 but we nuked they twice anyway....not military targets, nuked to kill civilians was the goal in order to end the war sooner and save American lives. You could say that is a precedent for the use of nuclear weapons...

Targeting civilians was nothing new for the allies thou...they did it in germany and japan with firebombing/bombing before using nukes to do it.

The Ukraines used to have nuclear weapons after the breakup of the USSR.

We talked them into giving them up. Biggest mistake they ever made.

I wish our citizenry and politicians cared more about the invasion and sovereignty of our own country than they do about Ukraine.

Do you think the Ukies, and much less, the Kazakhstan folks really had control of the Soviet nukes after Gorbachev said, "Well, there you go folks, the USSR doesn't exist anymore." Give me a break. The drunk Boris Y. got paid by us to take those "Ukie and Kazakhstan" warheads. Boris and his buds got a lot of coin and the Russian military had plenty of fissionable material to make more. In the deal, the Rus got the USA to pull out the Minuteman II silos out of 3 USAF bases such as Ellsworth out west in South Dakota. After the mid-1990s, I didn't have worrying about walking too close to one of silos while antelope hunting on Buffalo Gap Nat'l Grasslands east of Rapid. Go up into Meade County and drive around and see how many former little super secure 50x50 meter fenced off areas (former missile silos) now have become hay yards.

Better yet, go spend a few Uncle Ben's at this bed and breakfast Minuteman II command center north of Philip that's turned into an interesting place to crash for the weekend or not to see trees...

My grandson was in Germany over Christmas. His girlfriends mom is now an american citizen and an officer in the Army. She was a German national untill adulthood. He has not said anything about food or fuel shortages. He sent me this picture from a night out taken a few days after christmas 2022. My grandson is at the far end of the table

There are no FOOD shortages in Germany, Holland and Turkey. Shelves are full from what I have seen. Our shortages are directly caused by the Build Back Better. We have to be destroyed to Build Us Back Better!

As the global food crisis worsens thanks to the ongoing war in Ukraine, wholesale prices in Germany have spiked, seeing their greatest yearly rise in 60 years.

The wholesale costs of fuel, minerals and food in Germany have seen their greatest yearly rise in 60 years, prompting fears of stock shortages and sky-high prices.
