That's my point and we do not have Fox squirrels here.

Listen to the distress call of your black squirrels. They will likely be the same as your grey squirrels. Fox squirrels have a much different call and they don't use it as much as the greys do.


As I said, The black ones are identical to the grays in every way except color.

I just have a sample size of (1)- but after a closer look the tufts are brown and the ear back are white
