The U.S. has been at war since 1952 or whenever it was. Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan Iraq. There were a few years in there when there were not any U.S. military in harms way but not many. We split Korea in half. Thats been a thorn ever since. We just left Vietnam. We just left Afghanistan. Now you can visit Vietnam as a tourist and the people are thriving. When the fighting was going on we were told the evil Chinese and Russians were going to enslave the poor people of Vietnam. (seems like that may be true for n. korea) It appears life is back to normal in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The U.S. is not threatened.
War with Russia and life as we know it is over. Russia does not want that either. Wont be any different for them. Mutually assured destruction.
Nazi is just an acronym for National Socialist. The kill the jews thing doesn't have to be part of the plan though I suppose it still could. Not many jews left in Ukraine. Not many in Russia either. Both countries were killing them long before Hitler showed up. Not in camps but they have never been very welcome. 1/2 the worlds jews live in Israel now.
Its not hard to think that the current government in Ukraine are National Socialists.
Whatever they are the U.S. needs to quit letting Europeans tangle us up in their incessant fighting. They been fighting with each other for at least 1000 years.

Now that election and the rhetoric surrounding it were most definitely couched and wrapped in nationalistic and "patriotic" dogma such that it has been wrongly ascribed as right wing.
Much like the fascisti of Italy wrapped themselves in the fasci and togas of their ancient roman history.
But for simpleton who cannot make the distinction it is all just right wing and bad. For the not so simple who truly understands the fundamental and visceral distinction between socialism and communism it becomes a convenient mask to abuse the right with.
