I believe the ones I have were made by "Cage Maker" and I love them. Extremely well built and the set of 3 that fits inside one another is a real space saver. Yup, the Schroeder's are basically the Cadillac of cage traps as far as I am concerned.

I have a couple cage traps out right now. Today they seemed froze up from the weather so I readjusted them and I hope they'll work now.. but I'm not sure if there's any cats in the area that might be interested in walking into 1. They sure are finnicky. Seemingly no pattern whatsoever with the way cats maneuver through my area.

I also cover the cages with them to keep them from freezing in rain/sleet conditions. Caging cats has to be my favorite. If it is a kitten or female you just roll the cage over and let them go. The ultimate catch and release.
I have nothing clever to put here.

I need to try to get my hands on a couple more cage traps. This time I think I'd like to try one of those with the vertical drop-down door.

Go with the camtrip cages from mercer! You can get the set of 3 or a set of 4 that nest well to save space. Top quality. Though it will be probably next season to get any as He is a busy guy. Worth the wait though.

Fisher in cages are cool but they sure shine the inside of a cage up. I thought about putting out my Fisher cage for Bobcat but it might be too small. As for ordering Bobcat cage trap(s), to ship I bet that's pretty tough to ship something Freight that big

Tomahawk Live Trap is outside of Hazelhurst, WI 800-272-8727 They manufacture their own brand and Comstock Traps. Give them a call for recommendations, see what they might have in current stock,or when they will be scheduling a production run. Pick up at their facilities or have them bring it over to a convention near you.
